TheraDynamics in Rye Brook, NY is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our therapist-owned rehabilitation team. You will help patients regain function in a geriatric population within a skilled nursing facility, with workload designed to be manageable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current New York State PTA license or eligibility.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional recovery.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, families, and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Support patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and activities of daily living.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse geriatric population.
