Theradynamics is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a therapist-owned rehabilitation team in Rye Brook, NY. You will implement treatment plans, assist patients toward meaningful functional goals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support geriatric rehabilitation.

New graduates are welcome. We offer flexible employment options including full-time, part-time, and per diem, with a focus on reasonable workloads and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current New York State PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional recovery.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, families, and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Support patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and activities of daily living.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse geriatric population.
