Prime Healthcare in Riverdale, GA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help carry out treatment plans, guide patients through prescribed exercises, monitor progress, and support documentation to promote safe discharge and functional recovery.

Responsabilités

• Implement Treatment Plans: carry out specific physical therapy interventions designed by the Physical Therapist (PT)
• Assist with Patient Mobility: help patients get in and out of bed, walk, use assistive devices, and perform exercises safely
• Monitor Patient Responses: observe and report patient progress, pain levels, or adverse reactions during therapy sessions to the supervising PT
• Educate Patients: teach patients proper movement techniques, safety precautions, and how to use walkers, crutches, or other mobility aids
• Prepare Equipment: set up and clean therapy areas, and ensure equipment is functioning properly

PTA license

BCLS (AHA) Certificate
