Job summary

River Crossing Rehab and Healthcare Center is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the Physical Therapist in implementing resident-specific treatment plans. This role requires hands-on patient care across all shifts in a busy rehabilitation setting.

You will document treatments, track progress, participate in care plan meetings, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary Rehab Team. A PTA certification is required, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct treatment to patients under the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Documents treatment and need for skilled services in records.
• Maintains productivity and time management per daily schedule.
• Attends care plan meetings and collaborates with the Rehab Team.
• Communicates patient response and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Participates in program development and shares best practices with the Rehab Team.
• Assists patients in achieving outcomes and acts as a community partner.
