Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to work under a PT. You will implement treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, and monitor progress to promote safe discharge and functional recovery.

This full-time role requires an A.A. degree, an active PTA license, and BCLS certification. Healthcare experience is preferred and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• A.A. Degree is required.
• Current state Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate is required upon hire.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by the physical therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and report to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients on movement techniques and safety.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and areas.
