Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Vineland, NJ. This full-time position offers an opportunity to help residents improve mobility and independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

Salary ranges from $34.00 to $38.00 per hour. The role involves collaboration with PTs and the interdisciplinary team, plus ongoing CE opportunities and career growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey PTA license required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Rehabilitation/Skilled Nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with gait training, balance, strengthening, transfers, endurance, and functional mobility.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans and monitor resident progress.
• Communicate changes in resident status with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality resident care.
