Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide safe, effective therapy under a licensed PT. You'll progress patient plans, document care, and communicate with physicians and the supervising PT. Lead rehab aides and support staff while engaging in community outreach.

The position emphasizes high-quality patient outcomes, teamwork, and accurate charting in a fast-paced outpatient setting; a current PTA license and CPR/AED are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state practicing.
• Associates degree, accredited by an accredited PTA Program.
• Current CPR certification and AED training.
• Minimum of 2 years experience outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Energetic and a team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and service.
• Progress patient’s plan of care established by the PT.
• Communicate progress notes and discharge summaries to physicians.
• Coordinate with supervising PT on treatment plans and follow-up.
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and support staff as needed.
• Engage in community services and outreach activities.
• Complete timely documentation in patient charts.
