Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state practicing.
• Associates degree, accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR certification and AED training
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Energetic and a team player
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional patient care and service.
• Progressing patient’s plan of care established by the physical therapist.
• Periodic written and dictated communication to physicians through progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Frequent communication with supervising PT regarding treatment plan and follow-up.
• Supervising rehabilitation aides with patient care and staff as needed.
• Community services through health fairs, in-services, events and screenings.
• Daily paperwork including progress notes, discharge summaries and billing forms.
• Develop professional relations with referral sources.
