Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (IDFPR) or eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Board eligibility and board exam when available.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the plan of care and documents communication with the evaluating therapist.
• Completes daily therapy documentation and billing in EMR.
• Maintains compliance with clinical documentation policies.
• Coordinates care and communicates patient progress to referring providers.
