Job summary

Madden & Gilbert Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Central Pennsylvania. You will perform interventions under a Physical Therapist's supervision and help patients recover from orthopedic injuries with evidence-based techniques.

Qualifications

• Must have PA PTA licensure and CPR certification.
• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited PTA program.
• New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform PTA interventions under supervision, including exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and wound care.
• Record patient progress and chart treatment responses.
• Report patient status to supervising Physical Therapist and physicians; monitor ROM, strength, and vitals as needed.
• Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs and use of assistive devices.
• Support PTA students and technicians; participate in QA and quality assurance activities.
