Job summary

Jefferson Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Rehabilitation team in Pine Bluff, AR. You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver patient-centered treatments and help patients regain mobility.

The role requires an Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program and an Arkansas PTA license in good standing, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Arkansas PTA license in good standing.
• CPR certification.
• Previous rehab or acute care experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.
• Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented workplace and step in with additional duties as needed.
