Job summary

Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the Rehab team under licensed PT supervision. This full-time role focuses on delivering personalized treatment plans and helping patients regain strength and mobility.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for ongoing education and tuition assistance through Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in PTA required
• Licensed PTA in the state of Arkansas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed with supervising PT
• Document care services and patient outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment goals and exercises
• Support discharge planning including equipment recommendations and referrals
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care

How You'll Contribute

Are you passionate about helping others regain their strength and mobility? We're looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team. In this role, you'll work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering personalized treatment plans that help patients recover, maintain, and improve their physical function.

• Implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapy techniques and modalities
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or adjustments to the supervising therapist
• Document care services and patient outcomes with accuracy and clarity
• Educate patients and their caregivers about physical challenges and therapeutic goals
• Support discharge planning, including equipment recommendations and community resource referrals
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of patient care

Qualifications And Requirements

• Associate's degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
• Physical Therapy Assistant in the State
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
