Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for West Jefferson Medical Center's Acute Rehab Unit. This PRN role supports a vibrant team focused on restoring function and mobility for patients under licensed PT supervision.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree from a PTA program, an active PTA license, and CPR certification. Rehab or acute care experience is preferred to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in PTA field.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions under supervision of licensed PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
