Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a SNF in Ocilla, GA. This full-time opportunity offers PRN and part-time options as well, with compensation up to $100,000 annually based on experience, schedule, and location.

As a PTA, you will deliver treatments under the supervision of a PT, assist with exercises, monitor progress, document diligently, and educate patients and families on mobility and safety strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
