Mercy Hospital Jefferson seeks a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in delivering rehabilitative care. The PTA will perform delegated PT procedures, document progress, and adjust treatments within the supervisor's plan while addressing patient age-specific needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Licensed in the state of practice or holding a state-authorized temporary permit/license.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy.
• Performs PT procedures and tasks delegated by supervising PT.
• Documents patient progress notes.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort, reports safety issues.
• Coordinates workload and directs the PT aide as directed.
• Addresses age-specific needs of all patients.
