Job summary

WellTech Partners in Stillwater, OK is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for acute care to join an inpatient rehab team. You will provide therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist, focusing on adult and geriatric patients.

The role includes high-quality patient care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and adherence to standards. Full-time, on-site with a rotating schedule. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a PTA in Oklahoma (or license eligible).
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures.
• Education/experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is required.
• Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the direction of a physical therapist in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement.
• Caseload depends on patient census and is equally divided every morning.
• Treat patients with total joints, spine, and other medical and surgical diagnoses as appropriate.
