Job summary

Talin Home Healthcare is hiring a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver in-home care across Northern Virginia, helping patients regain mobility and improve function.

You will assist with treatment plans, monitor progress, educate patients and families, document treatments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective rehabilitation in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification required.
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required).
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients with various conditions, including geriatrics, and those requiring acute care.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Overview
