Job summary

Centers-Health-Car is recruiting a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Deptford, New Jersey. The PTA will follow the physical therapist's plan of care and support resident rehabilitation in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited PTA program with a current New Jersey PTA license. We offer mentorship, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career growth within a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Must hold current New Jersey PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist.
• Measure & record resident’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Observe and document resident performance.
• Treat residents with techniques like stretching and massage; assist with exercises.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with laws and professional requirements.
• Maintain cooperative relationships within the healthcare team.
