Job summary

Trove Home Care LLC. in Virginia is seeking a part-time Williamsburg Area Caregiver (PCA/CNA) to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care and companionship for seniors and individuals with special needs.

You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, hygiene, and safety, following each client’s care plan while maintaining dignity and independence in the client's home. We offer competitive pay based on experience, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team available 24/7

Responsibilities

• Caregivers provide hands-on personal care with dignity and professionalism.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Assist with eating, meal preparation, and hydration.
• Provide medication reminders according to care plan.
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement throughout the day.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Monitor changes in client condition and report concerns to the care team.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.

ATTENTION CAREGIVERS- PCA/CNAs

As a caregiver with Trove Home Care, you will provide hands‑on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), helping clients maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence while receiving care in the familiar surroundings of home.

What You'll Do

Caregivers provide individualized support based on each client's needs and care plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Personal hygiene: Assisting clients with bathing, showering, grooming, oral care, and other hygiene needs.
• Dressing: Helping clients select appropriate clothing and assisting with dressing and undressing.
• Toileting: Providing assistance with bathroom use, personal hygiene, and incontinence care.
• Mobility and transfers: Assisting clients with walking, repositioning, and transferring between beds, chairs, and other surfaces, according to their care plans and training.
• Eating and nutrition: Preparing meals, assisting with feeding when needed, and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
• Medication reminders: Reminding clients to take medications according to their established routine and care plan
• Companionship: Offering conversation, emotional support, and meaningful engagement throughout the day
• Light housekeeping: Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Safety and observation: Monitoring clients for changes in their condition, reporting concerns to the care team, and following established safety procedures

Additional Qualifications

• Must have an active driver’s license and valid car insurance
• Minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, families, and the Trove Care team
• Must pass a background check and reference screening
