Job summary

Trove Home Care LLC. is seeking a dedicated PC A/CNA caregiver to join our one‑on‑one home care team serving Williamsburg and surrounding areas. You will provide hands‑on care, assist with daily activities, and support clients to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, and capable of following individualized care plans. A driver’s license and transportation are often required to reach client homes.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, and dependable with a focus on dignity and comfort.
• Must have an active driver’s license and vehicle insurance may be required, depending on assignments.
• Able to follow care plans, maintain client safety, and communicate effectively with families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support mobility and transfers as outlined in each client’s plan.
• Provide companionship and monitor client well‑being and safety.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and report changes to the care team.

ATTENTION CAREGIVERS- PCA/CNAs

As a caregiver with Trove Home Care, you will provide hands‑on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), helping clients maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence while receiving care in the familiar surroundings of home.

What You'll Do

Caregivers provide individualized support based on each client's needs and care plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Personal hygiene: Assisting clients with bathing, showering, grooming, oral care, and other hygiene needs.
• Dressing: Helping clients select appropriate clothing and assisting with dressing and undressing.
• Toileting: Providing assistance with bathroom use, personal hygiene, and incontinence care.
• Mobility and transfers: Assisting clients with walking, repositioning, and transferring between beds, chairs, and other surfaces, according to their care plans and training.
• Eating and nutrition: Preparing meals, assisting with feeding when needed, and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
• Medication reminders: Reminding clients to take medications according to their established routine and care plan
• Companionship: Offering conversation, emotional support, and meaningful engagement throughout the day
• Light housekeeping: Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Safety and observation: Monitoring clients for changes in their condition, reporting concerns to the care team, and following established safety procedures

Additional Qualifications

• Must have an active driver's license and valid car insurance
• Minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, families, and the Trove Care team
• Must pass a background check and reference screening
