Job summary

Batesville in Franklin, MA is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to join a team committed to excellence. The shift starts at 4:00 AM with flexible schedules, including several 8-hour shifts or 4–5 mornings per week, focusing on morning trailer unloading.

Your duties include inspecting units, unloading inbound caskets safely, keeping the area organized, and operating powered equipment as needed. Requires 1 year warehouse experience and ability to lift up to 100 lbs; compensation is $20.50

We are currently seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Franklin, MA.

Schedule: This is a part-time position with a 4:00 AM start time. We offer flexibility based on availability, with potential schedules including a few 8-hour shifts per week from 4:00 AM–12:00 PM or 4–5 days per week from 4:00 AM–8:00 AM. This position will primarily support morning trailer unloading.

As a Part-time Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and following safe practices and standard work procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various powered equipment efficiently and safely.

What You'll Bring:

• 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.
• Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.

Nice to Haves:

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions.
• Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.
