We are currently seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Franklin, MA.

Schedule:

This is a part-time position with a 4:00 AM start time. We offer flexibility based on availability, with potential schedules including a few 8-hour shifts per week from 4:00 AM–12:00 PM or 4–5 days per week from 4:00 AM–8:00 AM. This position will primarily support morning trailer unloading.

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Part-time Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and following safe practices and standard work procedures.

• The expected pay for this role is$20.50per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various powered equipment efficiently and safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.
• Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.

Nice to Haves:

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions.
• Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.
