Job summary

Batesville is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely handle shipments, manage inventory, and perform diverse warehouse duties. You will inspect units for quality and support efficient inbound/outbound loading while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Flexibility for shifts and weekends is expected.

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and various other warehouse duties as required.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various power equipment efficiently and safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.
• Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.

Nice to Haves:

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions.
• Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.
