Job summary

Fairhope Physical Therapy is seeking a physical therapy technician for outpatient duties, supporting therapists and assistants to deliver compassionate care to patients in a warm, collaborative environment.

This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a genuine interest in improving patients' quality of life. You will assist with patient care, data entry, documentation, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Outgoing personality and a desire to improve patients' quality of life.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Interest in physical therapy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists and assistants with patient care and related activities.

• Report all treatment procedures.
• Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance.
• All other duties as assigned and permitted by law.

Job Overview & Work Site

This individual would be responsible for assisting therapists and assistants with the following tasks:

• Assisting with patient care and related activities
• Data intake and supporting documentation as permitted
• Reporting all treatment procedures
• Assisting with routine cleaning and maintenance
• All other duties as assigned and permitted by law

License & Experience

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills.
• Outgoing personality and a desire to improve tour patients' and clients' quality of life
• Successful candidates will be able to handle multiple tasks.
• An interest in the field of physical therapy and a background in Exercise Science is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to meet the job's physical demands such as frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing.
