Job summary

Bluffton Okatie Surgery Center is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technologist to join our fast-paced ASC team. This role requires scrubbing for procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and coordinating with surgeons and staff to ensure safe patient care.

The ideal candidate has a Surgical Technician program or equivalent, state certification as needed, and prior ASC experience. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in our patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• State or center-required certification as applicable.
• Prior ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures as a member of the team.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgeries.
• Support quality improvement activities and center objectives.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and physicians.
