Job summary

Rivers Casino in Philadelphia is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain clean kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment according to sanitation and service standards.

You will scrub dishes, load and unload ware, sweep and mop floors, wash tables and prep areas, remove trash, and help keep storage areas organized. Candidates should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months related experience or training preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes food from dirty dishes.
• Places tableware in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans, and other cooking utensils and equipment.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
