Illinois Central College is seeking a part-time Testing Specialist to join the Testing Center team at the East Peoria and Peoria campuses. The role focuses on administering a variety of individual and group tests, with hours typically Monday through Friday 8am–4:30pm and averaging about 29 hours per week.
Responsibilities include proctoring placements (Accuplacer, HESI), other ICC placement tests (BIO 205, Spanish, Music Theory), and handling test-related inquiries by phone, email, or in person.

Reporting directly to the Testing Administration Manager their focus is on performing testing administration duties by administering a variety of individual and group tests at both the East Peoria and Peoria Testing Centers. The Specialist may be asked to work an occasional weekend and evening as needed. This position helps to advance departmental and divisional goals while supporting the college’s overall mission and strategic priorities. Hours for this position will fall within Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Averaging to be about 29 hours a week. This position will remain open till filled. Compensation for the Testing Specialist is $18.08-20.34 an hour.
