Job summary

Willis Automotive in Des Moines, IA is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to join the service department for a seasonal role. You will greet customers, help manage the service drive, and ensure smooth vehicle check-in and flow throughout the day.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driving record, the ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays, basic computer skills, and knowledge of manual and automatic transmissions.

Monday through Friday 12PM-6PM.

Primary Function:

Under the direct supervision of the Service Manager, this position is responsible for meeting and greeting customers and maintaining a clear service drive. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards and policies of Willis Automotive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate all vehicles in a safe, professional and courteous manner
• Prep and check in all customer vehicles
• Assist with re-delivery of customer vehicle
• Check loaner car for any items that customer may leave behind
• Maintain cleanliness of Service Drive
• Keep service drive clear of debris
• Assist customers in delivering and fueling vehicles
• Assist with checking in and out loaner vehicles when Concierge, is unavailable
• Assist the Service team with test driving vehicles, if needed

What we need from you:

• High School Diploma/equivalent preferred
• Acceptable driving record per insurance carrier
• Able to work a flexible schedule to meet needs of service and dispatch areas, including occasional Saturdays
• Basic computer skills
