Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, restocking, retrieving carts, cleaning, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at shift start.
2. Manage trash collection, operate trash compactor.
3. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas, perform hourly clean-up.
4. Collect, stack, and push carts to the front-end.
5. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to operate required equipment and tools.
• Adhere to company performance standards, including attendance.
• Complete the probationary period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all tasks safely and wear approved clothing and shoes.
• Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits as required.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4 hours, variable based on needs.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., standing 55%, walking 45%.
• Category IV physical activity: lifting, carrying, pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks is expected.
