Job summary

DATTCO is hiring experienced Van Drivers for our Cheshire, CT location. The part-time position offers 20–25 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate of $19.50–$21, based on experience and licensing. CDL-Vendor endorsement required for student transport.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have three consecutive years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
• Must hold or be able to obtain V Endorsement for student transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and meet DMV/company standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow routes, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for students.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff.
• Complete required safety training and regulatory requirements.
