Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to support students in Waterboro, ME. The role involves two days per week of K-5 elementary evaluations and Pre-K evaluations districtwide, with a long-term assignment through June 16, 2027.

Compensation ranges from $40 to $45 per hour, depending on experience and education. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to interpret assessments, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure adherence to district and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience with K-5 and Pre-K populations preferred.
• Solid understanding of student assessments, evaluations, and eligibility processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district and federal guidelines.
• Flexibility to travel between school sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-5 students at the elementary school.
• Carry out evaluations of 4-year-old Pre-K students across the district.
• Interpret evaluation results and collaborate with educators and families on intervention strategies.
• Offer consultative services to classroom teachers and contribute to IEP meetings as needed.
• Maintain complete and accurate records in line with district protocols.
