Job summary

Dot Foods Inc. in Liverpool, NY is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation Tech to maintain cleanliness of aisles, racks and slotting areas, and to keep the work environment safe and sanitary to company standards.

You will operate material handling equipment as needed, relocate product, move refuse to designated areas, and apply lean thinking to eliminate waste. The role offers a 30-hour week with a flexible schedule and pay between $17.08 and $23.11 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely.

Location: Liverpool NY Department: Sanitation Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Your Role

As a Warehouse Sanitation Tech you will utilize various electric or manual equipment to maintain warehouse cleanliness. Including aisles, rack, and warehouse slotting areas. Keeping the work environment safe, clean, and sanitary to company standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Warehouse aisle and slotting area maintenance.
• Operating material handling equipment to relocate product in the warehouse while cleaning product slots or pallet sorting.
• Move all refuse to designated trash pick-up areas.
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 18 years of age or older
• Able to pass a physical abilities test and lift up to 40 pounds during shift.
• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience with operating manual pallet jacks
• Previous sanitation experience

Role Specifics

• Frozen/Dry warehouse kept at -5 degrees all year round, or up to 100 degrees in Dry Warehouse.
• Walking up to 7 miles a day on concrete floors
• 30 hours a week with flexible schedule.
