A Sales/Cashier is primarily responsible for helping customers with payment and packaging as they complete their purchases. They are often the first store staff that customers encounter, making it important to be knowledgeable about the store’s merchandise and cheerful when answering customer questions. This helps create a warm and welcoming environment, enhancing the in-store customer experience.

Abilities

• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Accurately and efficiently ring up purchases and maintain cash and media at the registers.
• Maintain an orderly cash wrap area.
• Receive payments via cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Promote the MStyle Loyalty Program and encourage sign-ups.
• Issue receipts, process refunds, credits, or give change.
• Count cash in drawers at the start of shifts to ensure accuracy and sufficient change.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping as requested.
• Help process and replenish merchandise.
• Participate in cycle count preparations.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms as needed.
• Answer customer questions and escalate to a manager if necessary.
• Clean shelves, counters, fixtures, and maintain cleanliness in employee areas and stockroom.

Requirements
