Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness at the Service Desk/Kiosk.
• Present a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to personal appearance policies.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Work within management guidelines to ensure productivity.
• Support safety standards; report hazards and equipment issues.
• Treat all associates with fairness and respect.
• Perform accurate price checks and manage store supplies efficiently.
• Record discrepancies and handle price inquiries promptly.
• Verify customer IDs and adhere to policies on checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
• Manage register cash levels and request cash pickups as needed.
• Observe security standards and report suspicious activities.
• Process various transactions accurately, including cash, checks, and electronic payments.
• Secure the register when unattended and maintain equipment properly.
• Maintain sanitation standards per store and health regulations.
• Recognize different produce types and varieties.
• Perform cashier and service functions regularly.

Qualifications

Prerequisite Training

• Completion of Cashier/Service Associate training packet.

Physical Requirements

• Stand continuously; occasional walking.
• Handle currency and operate equipment regularly.
• Lift up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Reach and grasp at various levels.
• Meet activity volume standards.
• Visual acuity for ID and document checks.

Preferred Requirements

• Handle payments accurately and provide refunds as needed.

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 hourly.
