DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of Service Desk/Kiosk.
- Present a neat, well-groomed appearance in accordance with company policy.
- Assist with special projects and perform assigned functions.
- Adhere to management planning guidelines to ensure productivity.
- Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and maintain a hazard-free work area.
- Treat all colleagues with fairness, dignity, and respect.
- Perform accurate price checks and record discrepancies.
- Manage store supplies efficiently.
- Verify customer IDs and adhere to policies on checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
- Follow cash handling policies and secure registers.
- Observe security protocols and report suspicious behavior.
- Process various transactions including cash, checks, electronic payments, coupons, gift cards, refunds, lottery, and Western Union.
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Recognize and differentiate produce merchandise.
- Perform cashier and service associate duties as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Meet minimum age requirements for the role.
- Willingness and ability to learn multiple tasks and technical skills.
- Ability to perform the technical requirements of the job.
Prerequisite Training
Completion of Cashier/Service Associate training packet.
Physical Requirements
- Stand continuously; occasional walking.
- Handle currency and operate equipment regularly.
- Bend and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Reach and grasp at various heights.
- Sufficient visual acuity for ID checks and reading documents.
Preferred Requirements
- Greet customers and provide courteous service.
- Record purchases accurately and efficiently.
- Handle payments and provide refunds per policy.
- Meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.
- Follow AML guidelines for Western Union, Money Orders, Prepaid Cards, and Check Cashing.
