DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Follow all company policies and procedures.
2. Clean the Service Desk/Kiosk.
3. Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to personal appearance policies.
4. Assist with special projects and other tasks assigned by supervision.
5. Operate within company management guidelines to maintain productivity.
6. Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep the work area safe and clean.
7. Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
8. Perform accurate price checks and record discrepancies.
9. Control store supply usage.
10. Verify customer IDs and adhere to policies on checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
11. Manage cash registers securely, including cash pickups.
12. Monitor security and report suspicious behavior.
13. Process transactions including cash, checks, electronic payments, coupons, gift cards, refunds, lottery, Western Union, etc., in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
14. Secure the register when unattended and maintain equipment.
15. Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation standards.
16. Recognize and differentiate produce merchandise.
17. Perform cashier and service associate duties as needed.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Prerequisite Training

Completed Cashier/Service Associate training packet.

Physical Requirements

• Stand continuously; occasional walking.
• Handle currency and operate equipment regularly.
• Bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Reach and grasp at various heights.
• Sufficient visual acuity for ID and document checks.

Preferred Requirements

• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Record purchases accurately.
• Handle payments and provide refunds appropriately.
• Meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.
• Follow Anti-Money Laundering guidelines for Western Union, Money Orders, Prepaid Cards, and Check Cashing.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65/hr.
