Job summary

LionStone Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Colerain Care Center in Cincinnati, OH. This part-time on-site role offers hourly pay and a strong benefits package.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team. Active RN license and strong EHR skills are required; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Prior experience in health-care, long-term care, or acute-care settings preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient health and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, respiratory treatments, and other clinical procedures.
• Safely administer medications, document accurately, and monitor for adverse reactions or errors.
• Maintain precise EHR records and ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, and participate in care conferences.
• Provide CPR and other emergency interventions and assist with patient stabilization and transfer.

Job Overview

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Colerain Care Center, Cincinnati, OH 45247
Employment Type: Part‑Time
Salary: $35.00 – $39.00 per hour
Shift: Any
Travel: None

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient health, develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, administer medications and therapies per physician orders, and monitor patient responses for necessary adjustments.
• Clinical Procedures: Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, respiratory treatments, and other clinical procedures per facility protocols; educate patients and families on treatments and health‑promoting habits; assist with diagnostic testing and document vital signs.
• Medication Administration: Safely give medications following the five rights, document administration accurately, and report adverse reactions or errors; manage complex medication regimens for chronic conditions.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise, thorough, and timely records in the electronic health record (EHR) and other required formats; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies; engage in quality assurance initiatives.
• Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; serve as patient advocate, participate in care conferences and team meetings, and coordinate holistic care.
• Emergency Response: Provide immediate life‑saving interventions (CPR, airway management, advanced resuscitation) and assist in patient stabilization and transfer as needed.
• Patient Advocacy: Promote patient rights, provide emotional support, and guide families through complex health decisions.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Preferred: prior experience in a health‑care, long‑term care, or acute‑care setting; new graduates also welcome.
• Strong clinical assessment and care plan development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a compassionate approach.
• Capability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and nursing documentation.
• Knowledge of nursing best practices, medication safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
