Primary Purpose

Perform duties to ensure department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety standards are maintained. Support Hannaford Strategy, build customer relations, and provide enthusiastic service.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork desire.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lb. frequently, 75 lb. on occasion.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Meet activity standards for the department.
• Bend, reach, grasp, and lift produce at or above waist level.
• Use hands and tools for handling and cleaning produce.
• Handle substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food.
• Work in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

• Assist customers with product location and selection.
• Perform stocking, culling, and rotation per guidelines.
• Prepare products to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness per policy.
• Support product quality standards.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour.
