Primary Purpose

Perform duties to ensure department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety are maintained at the highest level. Support Hannaford's strategy, build customer relations, and provide enthusiastic customer service.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.

• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lb. most of the time, 75 lb. on occasion.
• Reach to shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Meet activity standards for the department.
• Bend, reach, grasp, and lift produce items regularly.
• Use hands for feeling objects and tools for opening boxes or cleaning produce.
• Handle substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food products.
• Tolerate working in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

Preferred Requirements

• Greet and assist customers with products.
• Perform stocking, culling, and rotation following guidelines.
• Prepare products according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness per company policy.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour.
