Qualifications

Position Summary: The Porter's primary responsibility is to maintain the condition of the exterior grounds and common areas of the property, plus the interior common areas. Exhibits a strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customers. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain the condition of the exterior grounds and common areas of the property, plus the interior common areas.
• Assist with trash outs after move-outs, when applicable.
• Responsible for overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops.
• May assist with cleaning and maintaining the pool and surrounding area.
• Post notices to vacate and other community communication, if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• Previous knowledge of grounds maintenance, landscaping, and/or general maintenance/janitorial experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic interior/exterior maintenance, hand tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair preferred.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (schedule may vary). Some overtime and extended hours, including "on-call" shifts, may be required to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements/Environment: The physical requirements include lifting at least 50 pounds, full range of motion, continual movement, operation of a motor vehicle on-site, and exposure to all weather conditions.
