Job Summary

The Porter maintains cleanliness and appearance of building spaces, responding to management requests and work orders. Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Service all public and operational spaces.
• Maintain plaza and parking garage areas.
• Ensure elevator cars are clean and presentable.
• Preserve lobby and first impression areas.
• Uphold exterior building appearance.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and hygiene, restock supplies.
• Monitor and clean building grounds and dock area.
• Clean stairwells daily, dust mop weekly, damp mop monthly.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.
• Respond to special requests and work orders via cell phone/tablet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Porter.
• Strong communication skills, English proficiency.
• Ability to operate cell phone/radio.
• Willingness to work assigned hours.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, or kneel.

Compensation and Benefits

Harvard offers a competitive salary of $17/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, life, LTD insurance, and a 401K plan.

Work Schedule

Mon & Tues 9am – 5:30pm, Wed & Thur 7am – 3:30pm.
