Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a licensed physical therapist to join the inpatient rehabilitation team at the UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center in Alabama. You will evaluate, plan, and provide physical therapy services per physician orders, and ensure timely documentation to meet professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include mentoring and developing care plans for PT assistants under APTA guidelines, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, and

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Registered as a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.

Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required. At least 1 year of experience preferred.
