Schedule

8-hour day shifts, with a guarantee of 36 hours and an expectation to work up to 40 hours weekly.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have outpatient experience and be ready to provide care for patients in an orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in appropriate settings as part of the rehabilitation team.
• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress towards recovery goals.
• Assist in conducting evaluations and assessments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Manage a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, with 12-14 patients seen per day.
• Expect double-booking of follow-up visits as part of the workflow.
