The Physical Therapist provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services aimed at restoring function and preventing disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing, and accrediting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic interventions as per best practices
- Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on treatment processes and wellness strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current California Physical Therapy license
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current
- Previous Acute Care Hospital Experience preferred
