Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Michigan. The role plans and administers prescribed PT treatments to restore function and reduce disability, with standing/sitting 90% and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with optional 36-hour week incl. Fridays 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Travel experience preferred; BLS required; MI license active. ARMStaffing provides benefits and support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Michigan Physical Therapy License.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.

• Evaluate patient conditions and document treatment progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individual treatment plans.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist plans and administers medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to help restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. This position requires the ability to stand and sit continuously (90% of the time) and may involve exposure to infectious diseases. The role also requires reaching with hands and arms and the ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatment programs to restore patient functionality.
• Evaluate patient conditions and document treatment progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individual treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Michigan Physical Therapy License.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
