Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule promptly at the start of each shift.
2. Help customers at the counter.
3. Answer and assist with telephone calls.
4. Verify customer identification for products when required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Complete background check and drug screening successfully.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform job duties effectively and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Complete the 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Use or learn to use necessary equipment and tools.
• Wear proper assigned clothing and shoes.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45%, sit 0%.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understand company policies and procedures.
• Follow all applicable laws, especially pharmacy regulations.
• Know MSDS information for materials used.
• Complete Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, HIPAA, and other pharmacy-specific trainings.
