Primary Purpose: To assist customers and answer telephone calls.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule at the start of each shift.
2. Help customers at the counter.
3. Answer and assist with telephone calls.
4. Verify customer identification for products when required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Complete background check and drug screening successfully.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform job duties and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Complete the 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Use or learn to use job-related equipment and tools.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the job.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Compliance with all pharmacy laws and standards.
• Knowledge of MSDS materials used during work.
• Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, HIPAA, and other pharmacy training requirements.
