Job summary

Ventura Orthopedics – Therapy Department is seeking a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to join our team, delivering comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatments to restore function and reduce pain in our patient population.

You will work alongside physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment, with opportunities for continuing education and career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.
• Active California PT or OT license in good standing.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Help patients restore function, improve mobility, and reduce pain.
• Establish measurable functional goals and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Supervise and support therapy aides, PTAs, and students, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements.
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on teamwork and exceptional patient care.
