Position Summary

Have fun driving our Trolley of The Doomed! Share the darker side of our region's history while driving The Ghost and Gravestones trolley. Entertain guests by taking them on a journey back in time to tour the most haunted places in the city.

This is a part-time position, working two to three nights a week, primarily driving and shuttling without narration (minimal spieling required).

Requirements

• Must have a CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• Must be able to drive a non-air-conditioned vehicle on busy public streets safely and competently.
• Most tours last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• $2000 Hiring Bonus (paid in two installments: $1000 after 90 days, $1000 after 6 months, subject to attendance requirements)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• CDL C (or higher) with Passenger Endorsement required
• Ability to assist guests with boarding and exiting the trolley
• Ability to pass annual Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) checks as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
• Ability to learn assigned routes
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) for effective communication
• Ability to sit for long periods and tolerate various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass a DOT physical upon employment
• Valid driver’s license with a verifiable driving record of at least three years

Successful candidates must undergo drug testing and a background check.
