Position Summary

Have fun driving our Trolley of The Doomed! Share the darker side of our region's history while driving The Ghost and Gravestones trolley. Entertain guests by taking them on a journey back in time through the most haunted places in the city.

This is a part-time position - two to three nights a week, primarily driving/shuttling with no narration required (minimal spieling).

Requirements

Must have a CDL with Passenger Endorsement.

Our ideal Tour Conductors have a passion for helping people and making their vacation experience memorable. A love of history and local culture is ideal.

The Tour Conductor must be able to drive a non-air-conditioned vehicle safely on busy public streets.

Most tours last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• $2000 Hiring Bonus (paid in two installments: $1000 after 90 days, and $1000 after 6 months, contingent on attendance)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• CDL C (or higher) with Passenger Endorsement required
• Ability to assist guests with boarding and exiting the trolley
• Must pass annual Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) checks as per DOT
• Ability to learn routes
• Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to sit for long periods and tolerate various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass a DOT physical upon employment
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record for at least three years

Successful candidates will undergo a drug test and background check.
